What Does Creativity Mean To Me?

Creativity basically means to me that I can express myself without limits.  It means I can do a list of things that are in my mind and just let the Creative juices flow.  It means free writing, it means, it means I can just put a pen on paper and start writing and create something out of nothing.  Just getting away from the computer and take full control of my creative development.
For me to be really creative, I have to be able to be free, take breaks or even sing in the shower or while I'm driving.  This is very important to me because it protects me from criticizing and beating myself up about my work.  In my creative process it is important for me to know my background, previous work or projects and even my roots sometimes  By doing this it helps me to be open and don't give up when I hit the wall or the "Black hat" suddenly fits my head.

Having said all that, creativity also means that I am opening a new world, new place where I'm free to do as I please.  Basically break all the rules, collaborate and also practice, practice, and practice.
Creativity is also about learning from other creators, be able to "Steal" from them but not just stealing but Steal Like An Artist" because everything that is created out there is inspired from something else.  As someone who is creative I should be able to watch foreign films, listen to unpopular/unfamiliar music so to speak.
